It starts with food...

The food you eat either makes you more healthy or less healthy.
Those are your options.

That's one of the first sentences that will greet you in the first chapter and it will resonate with you throughout the entire book! We all know by now that you are what you eat, but sometimes we need a good book to make you fully understand what that means.
I was so happy when last month I was sent a copy of this book to review. I've had it on my wishlist for a while now.
I started reading it right away and not once did I encounter a dull page where I was bored, or that I didn't understand. It's fun to read and has some funny moments, which makes it even better to read.
For everyone interested in the Paleo way of life, this is a must read. It's also great for those hardcore Paleo lovers. For me it was great because I've been interested in Paleo for a while now, and this book helped me understand how easy and perfect it really is for me.The book explains the science part of food in a way that we can all understand and it also talks about our sometimes not so normal love for food (you must always remember to chew and not just swallow)

In the book you will find some great advice on food choices and a more detailed explanation on their very famous Whole30 program. One of the things that you will notice is that they dedicate a good part of the book to meal planning, which I personally love. This girl is always looking for great food ideas and I found some great ones here.

I'm happy to report that my book is full of dog eared pages and highlighted sentences.
I will also be starting the Whole30 in January, stay tuned to see my progress reports.

You can purchase the book on Amazon or check out your local public library, but don't be surprised to find a long waiting list!

Love,
Kary xoxo

Disclosure:  I received this book for review as a member of the FitFluential family but all thoughts are my own.

  1. I read this book as soon as I got it and started Whole30 on November 26th and it will end on Christmas Day. It has been incredible, not always easy, but so worth it!

I have journaled my daily experiences on my blog as well, and highly reccomend it to anyone who wants to experience improved health. I sleep soundly, have gained muscle and lost fat and have tons of energy.
