Yesterday the results of the TCS NYC Marathon came out, meaning we got to find out if we were accepted to run the marathon this 2014. I applied, I didn't say anything before because I know that once you say it out loud. it becomes real. This girl still wanted to back out, out of fear. Well I didn't and I patiently waited all day yesterday to find out if I would get to run. It was 7pm and nothing yet, at 7:05pm the email came in. It said I wasn't accepted. my heart dropped and i felt like crying.
Why? I know there will be other races and that everything happens for a reason, but I couldn't help it :( Well. I'm over it and now to move on! I know this was a sign that just says that this was not the year for the marathon. The time will come and in the mean time I will prepare myself mentally and physically. because when the time comes I will kick that marathons butt!!

i think its great you were prepared! Anyone can run the distance... do it anyway. Besides the crowds always drove me CRAZY
