We love all super heroes and when we missed Captain Marvel in the movie theaters we were a little bummed. Valentina was recuperating from her emergency surgery and we promised her that when it came out on digital and blu-ray we would have the best movie night ever.
I kept my promise, well all of us did because everyone helped in one way or another, and this last weekend we had our Captain Marvel movie night.
This was the first time any of us would be watching this movie, so no spoilers from any of us.
Can I just say that I'm in love with the packaging! Our digital copy of Captain Marvel arrived in a VHS box, of the memories. And if you've seen the movie then you will understand why the packaging, if you haven't then what are you waiting for?
A few days before we hosted our movie night we received a package full of goodies that we would use over the weekend. Funny thing is that everyone is the house quickly called dibs on one or two of the items. Including that lunchbox. Which ended up being Valentinas because she's the youngest one.
That top made up for it though, it says HEART and Captain Marvel in the back. The best part, that it was my size :)
Vale was in charge of setting up the snack station, which included m&m's. Mexican bread, popcorn, and grapes. A little bit of everyones favorite snacks.
She made sure we were all fueled up and ready for 2 hours of super hero fun.
By the end of the movie, Vale was all about Captain Marvel and couldn't stop using her special glove.
All I can say is wow, Captain Marvel is definitely one of my new favorite female superheros. My favorite part was finally finding out what happened to Furys eye.
Valentina loved every episode where Captain Marvel beat up the bad guys. Miguel and Husband loved all of the action parts, which were more than we can count. I could tell you more of our favorite parts but that would spoil the movie for you if you haven't watched it and that's something that we definitely do not want to do.
Just know that you will laugh, feel sad and root for Captain Marvel a lot. You will fall in love with new characters. Oh, and be ready for surprises. Remember that everything may not be what it seems.
