As a soon to be mom again I've been on the hunt for baby things. It can be overwhelming, especially with so many brands promising you the best. If I had money I would buy one of everything but I don't and that's why when the opportunity to try Chicco's new line of bottles came up I was so grateful to be able to try them out.
Our little Jellybean isn't due until February 11th (19 days away) but I do have a niece who just turned 1 and I was able to try one of the bottles and pacifiers with her. The rest are being put away for my baby girl.
The recently released line of Natural Fit Feeding and Soothing System includes 3 stages of bottles, orthodontic pacifiers and teethers.
Stages of the bottles

Consist of a wide angled nipple and wide rounded nipple base. Which is perfect for us breastfeeding mommies, because the soft flexible nipple mimics the moms breast.
The nipples also consist of two anti-colic valves that prevent air ingestion, gas and spit up.
Two bottles are available in this stage, bottle 1 is available in 5 ounces and comes with a newborn flow nipple that encourages proper neck positioning for newborns. Bottle number 2 in this stage is for 2 months and up , it comes with a medium nipple and the same angle as bottle number 1 in this stage and is unto 8 ounces.

Time to transition? Well, Chiccos makes it easy. The bottles in this stage come with a straight nipple that adapts to babies developing feeding skills. The flow can also be adjusted by turning the bottle.
Position 1 is slow, position 2 is medium and position 3 is fast.

The sucking phase. The bottle in this stage comes with a nipple that is designed to support a strong sucking motion and help support baby's bigger appetite.
Nipple base is smaller and less rounded for tighter lip support which is a must for good sucking action. The nipple also consist of a faster flow rate with multiple holes.
This is the bottle that was tried with my niece and she loved it. We noticed a difference in her sucking motion, which wasn't that hard as with her other bottle and we also noticed that she was less gassy which means that she wasn't sucking in that much air. It really did make a difference.

As for the pacifiers not only are
they cute but they are also very helpful.
My niece is a pacifier lover and never goes anywhere without her Nuby, but after trying out the Chiccos one, it became her favorite one.
I'm sure you've all heard before how bad pacifiers can be for babies and their teeth development, the great thing about the Chicco ones is that they evenly distribute the pressure of the palate which helps oral development. It also favors natural posture of the tongue and it has a narrow base for optimal mouth closure. The pacifiers are available in fun colors, you have to love that :)
