This medal was earned!

Done! Another Oakley Mini 10k in the books. Last year I ran it with Jellybean, I was pregnant and I didn't know it :) This year I ran it for Jellybean and Munchkin. They seriously pushed me and helped me get through this race. Confession - I did not train at all for this race and I almost didn't do it. But I figured I could always walk it. I had to cross that finish line no matter what. Every time I felt tired I looked at my phones wallpaper which has a picture of both my babies, that gave me energy. It also helped that my dad met me at the half way mark and did the last 3 miles with me. Talk about being my biggest supporter. I wanted to cry when I saw him standing there waiting to run with me. It was an unforgettable race, I did not PR but I did cross the finish line and that's all that matters in my book.
I finished with heart and I am super proud!

Can't wait for the 2015 Oakley Mini 10k

I will be sure to kick some butt and run with heart!
