Kung Fu Panda 3 Mamarazzi Event #KFP3Moms

Mamarazzi Event - great beginning to the week

Yesterday morning we got to see a special premiere of the Kung Fu Panda 3 movie that will be in movie theaters this Friday the 29th of January. It was a school day but that didn't stop me from taking Miguel. If you've followed me in my blog for the past few years, you know that I believe in playing hookie with my son at least 1 time a year even if it is on a school day. Ever since Miguel went into Junior High School that stopped, but we couldn't avoid playing hookie yesterday. I mean he is a belt away from being a black belt and he has always loved Po and the Kung Fu Panda movies.

So yesterday morning, we got up extra early so we could avoid the traffic, city life is a little crazy right now, with the crazy amounts of snow laying around. We took a cab downtown and arrived 10 minutes before the movie started, phew, that was close. It was my mom, Valentina, Miguel and I and we were excited to watch Po and get to meet two of the voices behind some of the characters from the movie.

Only 3 minutes into the movie (which was in 3D by the way) and we were already laughing our hearts out. The one hour and 35 minutes of the movie went by fast, a little too fast in my opinion. I kept on laughing so much, cried a little and worried a little that when I realized that the movie was over I was a little sad, but that just means that we need a copy when it come out on DVD.
My kids are already asking me to see it again when it comes out on Friday.
This movie has got to be my favorite from the series and it's because the messages it gives us are so beautiful and I relate to them so much. My family is my number one priority and I've met some amazing friends that have become my family, not being related by blood does not mean that you are not family. Your kids will love this movie and you will be able to talk to them about family, learning to accept themselves and finding themselves and what they are capable of and meant to be. This movie will make chatting a fun time. I don't want to give any spoilers away and that's why I will only tell you that it is a must see movie. Make sure to check it out this weekend and have a fun family day.

After the movie ended we got to listen to Kate Hudson and Lucy Liu talk about their experience with doing the voices for this movie and their characters. They are both so funny and down to earth. I love how family is very important to them both and their messages that they shared with us. It's always great to meet the people behind your favorite characters!

Get ready to fall in love with The Dragon Warrior all over again.

Love,
Kary xoxo
