Last week I had the opportunity to attend a special event at the American Girl Store/Cafe located in midtown Manhattan. It was the launch day of their newest dolls:

But first some breakfast and listening to the author of Wellie Wishers herself, Mrs. Valerie Tripp. It's always so nice to meet the creators behind some of your favorite brands and Valerie was no exception. I loved listening to her talk about how she came up with the Wellie Wishers and how they are all the same yet different at the same time. The sweetest bunch of friends who all share the same great big heart but have their own special characters that set them apart. From Emerson who loves making all of her friends laugh to Kendall who loves to invent stuff. Your little one is sure to find one that she loves. Valentina was not with me so I made sure to grab one Wellie Wisher and sit her down with me so she could join me for breakfast. It was her little doll-pelganger if I may say so myself. After eating breakfast we were able to go and check out the newest little dolls.

So many cute accessories available from a little theater to the cutest little outfits but wait, it doesn't end there. They also have the Wellie Wishers outfits available in kid sizes so your little one can match her doll. OMG!! Now that is the cutest thing available.
I had to get Valentina her matching outfit so she could match her newest little friend and first American Girl doll.

She wanted to bite Emerson? Not sure what's going on in this picture but let's just focus on how cute they are.

The Wellie Wishers are now available at the American Girl store or online
They retail for $60 each and make the perfect gift.
Recommended for ages 5 and up, but Valentina is 2.5 years and loves her new Wellie Wishers doll. She plays with her so nicely and loves the fact that she's so flexible and moves around easily. Valentina can move her and sit her down next to her, they've already been on a few adventures and Valentina wouldn't have it any other way, nor would I. I've loved watching her have tea time with her new little friend and sing family finger.
