My champions!
I am definitely one proud momma and daughter. Today was a fun and busy day full of sports.
It was the first soccer game of the Fall season 2016 for Miguel and my dad had the much anticipated Tune Up 18 miler race. This race helps him see how ready he is for the marathon in November.
We love when we are busy cheering for our family, we were able to cheer Miguel on and my dad.
Yes, it was a chilly morning BUT all the running around definitely helped keep me warm.
I'm excited for Fall weather because that means lots of outdoors fun, including races and soccer.
I love watching my son grow up in such an active lifestyle, he learns from example and I still remember that first time we ran together.
Miguel was 6 years old and we started the new year by participating in a 5k down by lower manhattan. The joy of crossing that finish line as a family will forever be engraved in my heart.
There are definitely more family races lined up for the near future, especially since this momma can run again.
Sundays are definitely going to be the best day of my week, can't wait to carry my thermos with coffee, walk down the park and scream my lungs out as we cheer our boys on.
