Momtrends Holiday Soiree #MTHoliday

Time goes by way too fast and I can't believe that the holiday season is already here.
That means that for the third year in a row I got to kick off the holiday season with the Momtrends Holiday Soiree, which also means that it is my 2 year anniversary being a part of the Momtrends community. Always such a special treat being invited to their events and being able to cover for my blog. As bloggers we always get to meet great new companies and always end up getting pampered in some way, the Momtrends Holiday Soiree is the perfect way to end a year of hard work with an amazing company that gives us so much.
A night of networking, pampering and fun holiday gift ideas.

DIY Nativity Scene Inspired By The Star

Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored post. We were provided with miniature toys and a gift card to help recreate our own nativity scene. All words and opinions expressed are 100% our own.

'Tis the season for decorating, Seriously when it comes to favorite holidays, Christmas has got to be one of my favorite ones. It brings back so many memories of laughter and pure happiness with my family. I was very excited to be able to re-create a nativity scene with Valentina, because that is one of the things that I always looked forward to when i was little. Putting up our christmas tree with my parents, while we listened to music and setting up our little nativity scene with our baby jesus and wining for the moment my dad put up the star on the Christmas tree. Hands down one of my most treasured memories.
It technically is still not Christmas and we have to wait until after Turkey day but with Sony Pictures releasing it's movie The Star this Friday November 17th, we thought it would be the perfect time to plan and start setting up our Nativity scene that will be going under the Christmas tree.

#TheStickerProject - A Nationwide Movement Focused On Helping People In Crisis

It's hard to see everything that's going in the world nowadays and I'm not going to lie, there are days when I prefer to stay away from the news.
As a parent I always make sure to talk to my son and remind him that I'm always here for him, no matter what. But I also remember what it's like being a teen and not being able to talk to your parents or family members about everything that's on your mind.
That's why it really is great to see companies that care for their community and people of the world, to come together to launch an amazing program that can make a difference in someones life.

A few months ago we got to enjoy a rare movie night at the theaters with my husband and kids, where we got to see Cars 3. We've been counting down the days until Cars 3 was released on Digital Copy and Blu Ray. Well the time has come and it was the perfect timing to host a Cars 3 viewing party.
