A fellow father friend posted a funny meme the other day that has me laughing by myself as I write this post because with Fathers Day around the corner, it can be a little bit hard to find the perfect gift for the special dad in your life. The meme had to do with how the commercials vary with the mom and dad celebrations. When Mother's Day is near, all you see are commercials for diamond rings and beautiful jewelry, and when Father's Day is around the corner all you tend to see are commercials for cargo shorts that are on sale for $12 - lol. Now, we all know that Father's Day is not all about the gifts, it's all about celebrating that special dad that works hard for his family and is always there for them. It's also sometimes one of the times that you can gift your special guy, a present that he would normally not buy for himself. That's my husband, he will spend a lot of money on all of us and when it comes to himself he always tends to hold off, and just add it to his wish list.
Why not help your special guy cross off something from his wishlist, thanks to Google you can find the perfect gift for the hard working guy in your life.

Google does it again and this time with the Pixelbook, perfect for the technology loving dad in your life. The Pixelbook's unibody is only 10.3 mm thin and it's ready to go with an all-day battery, that fully charges in less than 2 hours.
It comes with Google Assistant built in, and is easily accessible by using your voice, pressing the assistant key, or circling with Google Pixelbook Pen. Finding help on your laptop has never been that easy.

  • I have yet to find a decent case for the Pixelbook, which is driving me crazy because I keep imagining it dropping to the floor.

Use it as a laptop

Or use it as a tablet.

So many things to love about the Pixelbook, my husband loved being able to use it from the comfort of our bed and using it as a laptop for writing things up and then using it as a tablet afterwards for watching some Youtube videos.

Now for the best news, with Father's Day and Graduations around the corner Google has a special sale going on.

From now until June 17th (Father's Day) you can save $250 on a Pixelbook model 8GB with an i5 processor and 128GB SSD.

Make sure to buy buy Pixelbook here before this Sunday the 17th when the deal ends.

Which means that you can splurge and add that special extra touch by buying the Pixelbook Pen.
The perfect companion to the Google Pixelbook.

Pixelbook Pen:
  • Circle things on the screen to get more information.
  • Use the Pixelbook Pen to add stuff to your calendar, just circle a date on the calendar and the assistant window will pop up.
  • Pixelbook Pen also has built-in pressure sensitivity and tilt support that works with select apps (Squid, Evernote, Myscript Nebo, Infinite Painter, and Autocad 360) Just use tilt to increase the shading and increase pressure to change the weight of your lines.

Make sure to spoil that dad in your life with Google. He will be oh so grateful and the plus side is that you can also use it. I've been using it to edit some of my blog post and it is super fast, definitely makes for a productive night. Especially when you only have one or two hours to go.
