#MovieReview - Why #SpiderManFarFromHome Is A Must Watch Summer Movie

It's July 2nd and that means Spiderman Far From Home is finally in movie theaters. If you are like us then that means that you've been counting down to this movie for a few months now.
We got to watch an early screening last week and one thing that we can tell you for sure is that we left the movie theater even more excited then when we came in.

We've been huge fans of Spiderman from day one and were even a little disappointed when Tobey Maguire hung up his spidey outfit to pass it on to someone else. That was until Tom Holland came along to become our friendly neighborhood superhero. He won us over within 20 minutes of Spiderman Homecoming. Watching him in The Avenger movies made counting down to Spiderman Far From Home, a tad more bearable.
Just a tad!
I watched the trailer a few times but not that much, because it just made me more anxious.

Movie night came and you could feel the excitement in the air.
If you've read the comics, you know what this newest installment of Spiderman is all about but if you are like me then you have no idea, what you are in for. Except for the fact that we are still mourning the loss of a favorite superhero, which means that Spider-man has some fast growing up to do. It's not easy going from a 16 year old teen to full 24/7 superhero.

This latest installment also takes place somewhere else, that is not NYC.
We get to see Spider-man save the day in Europe.
The talking and action is evened out, which is perfect because we get to understand the storyline and characters even more. So, if you haven't watched the final Avengers you will be ok (except for spoilers, like who dies) because
they didn't lean on the Endgame Storyline that much, giving fans who haven't watched the final Avengers movie a chance to enjoy Spider-man Far From Home without feeling lost or the need to watch endgame first.

My son loved the movie,
loved how they brought Mysterio the character, to life on the big screen.
Especially after reading a little bit about his persona, it can be hard when you have a certain image in your head and then see him on the big screen. He was represented amazing and made my son love him even more.
Quick note, son is a huge villain fan.

I personally loved it, because Tom Holland is the best Spider-man ever and he definitely has this spark to him that makes you love him as your friendly neighborhood hero.

We laughed a lot, and definitely cheered a lot.
My 5 year old daughter was also very intrigued by the movie and had her special parts, that she loved. If I tell you what they were, I'd be spoiling the movie for you and I do not want to do that.

Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man must step up to take on new threats in a world that has changed forever.

CAST
Tom Holland, Samuel L. Jackson, Zendaya, Cobie Smulders, Jon Favreau, JB Smoove, Jacob Batalon, Martin Starr, Marisa Tomei, and Jake Gyllenhaal

So all I can tell you for sure is that this is a must watch this Summer 2019.
Get ready to laugh, cheer loudly and scream when you see our favorite characters and some characters from the past that we thought we'd never see again.
Oh, and stay till the end. There are two little scenes that you do not want to miss! :)

What has been your favorite Spider-man movie installment?

Love,
Kary xoxo
