Things To Do NYC - Halloween Edition

Halloween is just a few days away, next Thursday to be exact and I hate to admit it, but it sort of crept up on me. That means I've been running around searching for some fun events that we can go to, not only because we love Halloween, but this momma is also making sure to get those Halloween costumes to use. Just in case life has gotten the best of you or if you've procrastinated like me,
I've compiled a list of fun Halloween events happening in NYC.
Some we personally tried last year and some will be new to us.
Manhattan Mini Storage
Every year Manhattan Mini Storage offers fun trick or treating experiences for kids and their families at three of their locations.
 Upper East Side 62nd Street 3:30pm - 5:30pm

You can rsvp for each location separately via their Facebook page.
You do not have to have to be a Manhattan Mini Storage customer and it is free for everyone.
We've never personally attended one of these but have been told that it's fun and does get busy, so try to get there as early as possible.

The Laurie Berkner Bands "Monster Boogie Halloween Concert"

We've personally attended the Laurie Berkner Halloween Concert and it is out of this world fun. The kids love dancing and singing along while wearing their Halloween costumes.
It really is the perfect way to kick off the Halloween festivities.
They also have VIP tickets where yo can do a Meet & Greet with Laurie and the band at the end of the show. They are the sweetest and will take the time to talk to each child and family.

They will be doing their Monster Boogie Halloween Concert in Manhattan once again, this coming Saturday October 26, 2019 at the Concert Hall at the New York Society For Ethical Culture

WHEN: 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2019.
WHERE: The Concert Hall at the New York Society for Ethical Culture, 2 West 64th Street, New York, NY 10023
TICKET PRICES: General admission: $39, plus applicable fees. VIP tickets $100*, plus applicable fees. A limited number of $100 VIP tickets are available.

*VIP tickets include after-show Meet & Greet and photo opportunity with Laurieand the band.

Halloween Celebration at the American Museum Of Natural History

We've attended twice and every time Valentina has a lot of fun. You get to explore the museum while you trick or treat and find fun arts and crafts to do as well.

Some quick notes. Museum will close at 1pm for people who are not attending the Halloween Celebration.
Adults without children in their group will not be admitted into the museum, this celebration is designed for children.
Access to some halls will be limited as well.

$16 per person
$13 members

Hallowe'en Family Party at New-York Historical Society

This will be our first year and attending and we are pretty excited.
There are so many fun activities to do that I'm wondering if we will get a chance to do them all.
From pony rides (weather permitting), pick and decorate your own pumpkin from their pumpkin patch, listen to spooky stories, create your own candy bags, and trick or treating.

Sunday October 27
5:00 PM  –  7:00 PM
Historical Hallowe’en Family Party
Sunday, October 27, 5–7 pm
Families with children age 18 and under.
$20 per person ($15 per Member)

Now with so many events going on and with some of them going on at the same time, it's hard to pick which one to go to.

Love,
Kary xoxo
