Things To Do NYC Edition - The Little Match Girl Off Broadway

There's nothing more magical than watching a book come to life, even better is being able to share with your family. The Little Match Girl comes to life in a two week, limited off broadway production, beginning this Thursday, February 13th
Just in time for Valentines Day.
Being a mom of two, I truly believe in the magic of giving the gift of experience, especially because we live in New York City and there is always something fun to do. The Little Magic Girl will be great to experience with Vale and our boys, and the dates are perfect as well because Winter Recess kicks off this Friday. After a night performance, dinner with the family makes for a perfect family night.

The Little Match Girl

A poor lonely girl is forced out on the streets by her cruel father on New Year's Eve to sell matches. Cold and alone, with few prospective customers she has to decide between warmth and her father's wrath. Her decision takes on her on a magical journey.
The Little Match Girl, the iconic story by Hans Christian Anderson, comes to life in this brand new musical adaptation, set to a contemporary score filled with soaring melodies. It’s New Year’s Eve, and the Little Match Girl is forced onto the streets to sell matches to support her family. Cold and alone, her wondrous imagination takes her away from the harsh realities and struggles of her daily life. Armed with match sticks and music, she finds the hope we all need.
