The Show Must Go On

Life must go on.
Those were my pappa's words last night as he got mentally ready to face the world today
and go back to work.
It's been rough these past few days watching my pappa staring out into space,
and shaking his head no.
It's been hard trying to go on with life as if nothing is wrong.
Just when everything seems to be okay and I start laughing for
a little bit, it hits me that my papa Trini will never laugh again, will never feel the breeze
or the warmth of the sun on his little face again and I start to lose it.

The only comfort and relief that we have is to have found out that my pappa passed away peacefully.
He died smiling a very huge smile.
We like to think he saw his mamma and pappa again, that he was being reunited with his loved ones
including my Aunt Consuelo and that he saw our savior receiving him with open arms into heaven.
He left this world donning his big Trini smile ;)
Even till the end my pappa taught us a lesson.

I do apologize for these past gloomy and sad posts.
And I want to let you all know how much it means to me to be able to
share my happy and sad moments with all of you
That all of your beautiful comments, messages and prayers, have been so
much comfort.
A special thanks to my darling friend Priya, thank you for letting me cry over the
phone with you, for your words of comfort - I love you my friend.
And it's thanks to blog world that I've met such wonderful sweet girls as yourself.
It's during moments like these that you know who your real friends!
I Love You All So Much!!!!

Thank you so much from my family to yours

Miguelito with what used to be a phone booth
It's been a very long week but finally it's Friday and really cold here in NYC - Brrrrrr!!
And it won't stop snowing!!!!
We have another snowstorm in store for us tomorrow, the now just keeps
piling on.

Miguelito is really excited to start off the weekend for the reason that we will be seeing an
advanced screening of "Gnomeo & Juliet" tomorrow morning!
It will be a nice distraction for my mamma, Miguelito and me.
After wards some sweets and a walk through Central Park!

I hope to come back tomorrow with my countdown to love!
I wish you all a very happy weekend full of love and happiness.

Love,
Kary xoxo
