2012 NYC Marathon Cancelled

It's official after a few days of debates regarding the NYC Marathon still being a go on Sunday it was announced today that it was being cancelled.
It was a 50/50 that had it's pro's and con's. This was the correct decision, for respect towards all of the Sandy victims, the destruction that still needs to be cleaned up and for the safety of all the runners.
I am happy that my dad got to pick up his race bib yesterday and we got to take some pictures at the Expo, tomorrow it's husbands turn to pick up his race bib at the expo and I'm looking forward to that bit of normalcy!
Here are a few pics from the Expo:

Ready for the 2013 NYC Marathon!

Looking forward to the recovery of NYC and the ING NYC Marathon 2013!
 Happy Weekend Loves!
May you all be safe and please continue praying for NY and NJ, there is so much devastation and people that need help.
Please help by donating to the Red Cross, to do so just text REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.

Love,
Kary xoxo

P.S. I was able to snag some samples and goodies from the expo to do a small giveaway, there might also be a Wreck It Ralph Iphone case up for grabs :)

    1. For sure! What happened today in NYC and Staten Island with all of the runners brought tears to my eyes!
That goes to show how unselfish all of the runners are!
