Jellybean - Bump Update Week 22

What's Up With Baby: Jellybean is being shy. Yesterday was our second sonogram anatomy appointment. Baby girl didn't let the nurse see her little heart the first time, so I had to go back yesterday so we could try again and baby girl was once again shy. We got there and we saw Jellybeans heart for a few seconds when next thing we see, she turned around and stayed that way. They gave me apple juice to see if the sugar helped, they poked my belly many times and they tilted the bed to where I was almost upside down and nothing. Oh, she's a naughty one! Now I have to go back this Thursday to get a Fetal Echocardiogram. Good news is mommy doesn't need a full bladder and they will be able to see Jellybeans heartbeat no matter her position. She's still moving around like crazy, sometimes she makes me think that she's rearranging things in there. She's such a fluttering butterfly.

What's Up With Mama: I haven't lost any more weight right now and I'm still up the 2lbs that I gained. I'm still working really hard on eating more. My nights are still restless - help?!? My hematologist appointment is on the 23rd of October. I will be given my blood results and I'm getting some test done for a rare disease. Praying and still lots of praying. It's all a little bit scary and I seem to feel better after I pray.

Cravings: This week I'm craving apples, doritos and oreos. Not just any oreos but the Halloween ones. Spookalicious :)

Exercise: Still running and walking lots. Does a body and baby good! Plus this mommy has 3 races to get ready for.

Feelings: Happy, Excited, Happy, Excited and yes a little nervous. I can't lie and say I'm not a little bit scared about the labor part. The first time around I really wasn't sure about how long I was going to take or the level of pain but now I know and it's not easy :) With munchkin I went epidural free during the entire labor which was 16 hours (I will post munchkins birth story very soon) and he was born naturally. My plan with Jellybean is the same. I know I can handle the pain, I got this!!

Bladder: A disaster! Talk about having to pee every single moment of the day. I'm starting to think a diaper sounds like a great idea. To think that I'm only half way.

Love,
Kary xoxo
