Mizuno Wave Rider 18 Review

Disclosure: I received a pair of the new Mizuno Wave Rider 18 shoes through a campaign with FitFluential LLC on behalf of Mizuno. All opinions expressed are 100% my own.

This mommy runner was so excited when I got the chance to work with Mizuno once again. If you follow me through Instagram you will see that one of my favorite brands hands down is Mizunos. I was introduced to them about 3 years now and they have been my running buddies ever since.

This is a neutral shoe and it's not the first time that I get to try a pair like these out. I was able to test out the Mizuno Wave Rider 17 back in December during my pregnancy with Jellybean and I loved them. My excitement was definitely present while i waited for this new pair of Mizunos!

Even though it's a neutral shoe it's great for lots of mileage because of the great support and cushioning that they provide, and for that reason they are one of Mizunos top selling shoes. I always like to break in new running shoes by taking them for a walk a few times before taking them out for a run. The moment I put these on they already felt like old running buddies. The shoes themselves are so light. It amazes me how powerful such a light shoe can be. My toes had good room to wiggle around and the back part of the shoe is not high that it will hurt your heel.
Everyone that knows me, knows how much I love pink and that I always tend to buy some sneakers with a hint of pink. The Mizunos are available in three ombre style colors, including pink but I was sent the black/silver ones. This was my first pair of black sneakers and omg, it was love at first sight.
Never have I loved black so much, the combination of black, silver and mint is amazing.
These are hands down the best looking running shoes I've had, gulp - did I just say that out loud!
Sorry, to all of my old pink shoes.

Running felt good, my shoes felt light and running was great. My feet felt cushioned and with each step that I gave I could feel supported. I'm not bias, really I promise you. But if you don't already own  a pair of Mizunos what are you waiting for?!? Run to your nearest Running store or any retail store where Mizunos are available and get yourself a pair! You will not regret it.

Don't these beauties make you sigh!

Some important things to know about the new Mizuno Wave Rider 18:

- The premium sock liner has been upgraded and they now provide more rebound and resiliency at every foot strike.

- The outsoles new designs has added durability and shock attenuation.

The refined toe-spring delivers a smooth, effortless toe-off

Have I convinced you yet :)

I'm excited to put more miles on these babies, they are definitely a great pair of neutral shoes with amazing support. These will definitely go into my running rotation and I'm sure to run many races with these.

What's your favorite brand of running shoes?

Love,
Kary xoxo
