The holidays are just around the corner and so is the new Tangled: The Series Queen Of The Day dvd, well it comes out tomorrow December 12th to be exact. 

What better way to celebrate than by doing a fun holiday hairstyle inspired by Tangled. 

Especially when you little one loves flowers, crowns and getting dressed up.

Our idea was inspired by Rapunzel and her long braid covered in flowers. Valentina has very limp hair, therefor braids are very difficult to make on her hair. Now imagine trying to attach flowers of some sort. We weren't sure what we kind of hairstyle we wanted to make, but we did know that flowers needed to be involved. When stopping by our local craft store we found hair clip flowers and those were just perfect. There was hope.

The hope was a crown, that is always practical because it lays on top of your head and many things can be done to your hair after. A flower crown it would be.

With some metal wire and some thread that we would use to secure the clip on flowers, which didn't end up clipping so well we would make a metal flower crown and then play with the hairstyle.

For the little girl who doesn't like that there hair be handled, which is Valentina by the way on certain days. There are days when we can't touch her hair because she just won't have it and then there are days when she wants her hair up in a ponytail or two braids.

That's where the flower crown saves the day it will make a beautiful and fun, colorful statement this holiday season. Also a cute touch for the little rebel in you life, Valentina's face says it all.

Next I decided we should try the flower crown with a braid. A braid really can go a long way and make a change to any face. When Valentina's hair is up her face changes and looks so different, even her attitude will change. So yes, a hairstyle goes a along way even for little girls. 

A braid is easy to make and even on the hardest of hairs.

With a few days away from the holiday season, make sure to grab some flowers and dress up your child's hair or yourself.
