Find The Perfect Disney Book To Pair With Your Favorite Disney+ Shows/Movies At Barnes & Nobles

This holiday season why not include the gift of reading as that final touch to the present being put under the Christmas tree for your child. Valentina asked Santa for a singing Elsa doll and he made sure to search for a Frozen book to add with her doll. She loves reading and I know that her face will brighten up when she gets to add this new book to her library shelf. With Disney+ being all the rave right now and us parents making sure to share with our kids some of the shows that we watched when we were younger, why not find a fun book to pair with that favorite show of ours. I've teamed up with Barnes & Nobles to help you find that perfect Disney book that can be added to your child's library. Special thanks to Valentina Sainato (Events Manager at UWS Barnes & Nobles) for coming up with this personalized list, which is paired by thematic or character similarities.
You know what that means?
That all you have to do is head to your local Barnes & Nobles and grab a copy or even better, order online and ship to home or ship to store for pick up. I recommend stopping by your local Barnes & Nobles instead, so you can personally browse around and see if you want to grab anything else. You might be surprised at all the goodies that you will find, perfect for stocking stuffers and for adding that final touch.
Now for the list.

Lizzie McGuireCupcake Cousins by Kate Hannigan
(ages 6 and up)
This beloved Disney show features entertaining family humor, and that’s exactly what Cupcake Cousins brings to the table (besides delicious descriptions of baked goods)! Fans of Lizzie will also be fans of Willow and Delia as they bake their way through this chapter book series.

The Suite Life of Zack and CodyThe Fowl Twins by Eoin Colfer
 (ages 8 and up)
It’s double the trouble with Zack and Cody, so I’d recommend a story that also features a pair of twins you won’t soon forget: The Fowl Twins! This is a spin-off of the Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer; although a little more tech-fantasy than The Suite Life is, you’ll enjoy the wit and the sibling relationship that the author brings to the table.

That's So RavenAru Shah and the End of Time by Roshani Chokshi
(ages 8 and up)
In this bookseller’s humble opinion, That’s So Raven is one of the best things to come out of Disney. Aru Shah and the End of Time is a great match, because Aru is funny and outgoing but also possesses ancient powers (based in Hindu mythology) that will save the planet.

HalloweentownTales From the Haunted Mansion by Amicus Arcane
(ages 7 and up)
Spooky season has come and go but that doesn’t mean we can’t get excited for next year’s Halloween! Like Halloweentown, this creepy compilation of stories from the Haunted Mansion will send shivers down your spine over how good it is.

Peter PanPeter and the Starcatchers by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson
(ages 8 and up)
What happened before Never Land? Was Captain Hook always evil? Where did Peter Pan come from? This dazzling, action-packed novel actually serves as a prequel to the beloved children’s classic, and it’s one worth reading!

Winnie the PoohThe Complete Tales of Winnie-the-Pooh by A.A. Milne
(ages 6 and up)
Is there anything more lovely than Hundred Acre Woods and the gentle characters who live in it? This B&N exclusive collectible edition makes a sweet gift for your little reader.

Zenon, Girl of the 21st CenturySanity & Tallulah by Molly Brooks
(ages 7 and up)
Fans of space will go over the moon for this graphic novel! Two best friends and a three-headed kitten on a space station at the end of the galaxy? What could go wrong?

Kim PossibleShipwreckers by Scott Peterson and Joshua Pruett
(ages 7 and up)
Adventure with a large side of humor? Dani, her brother Mike, and the somewhat careless Captain Mike get into all sorts of trials and mishaps in this exciting read! Plus, the co-creators of Phineas and Ferb think it’s hilarious.

Toy StoryToy Story: Toy Tales for beginner readers
(ages 5 and up)
It’s hard to beat Toy Story at its own game! We’d recommend this beginning reader compilation for young ones learning to read on their own. It has some fun stories about Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the gang.

Barnes & Nobles is one of our go to places, whether it's for buying books or other special gifts for loved ones and friends. I've already stopped by three times to buy gifts that I will be adding under the Christmas Tree. Oh, and if you stop by your local Barnes & Nobles to search for that perfect book, don't be shy and ask a Barnes & Nobles employee, they will be more than happy to come up with that  personalized list.

Happy Holiday Shopping!

The more that you
READ
the more things
you will know.
The more that you
LEARN,
the more places
YOU'LL GO.
